I work closely with a variety of partners and groups to make sure that Young People here in Ceredigion get the best cultural and social opportunities to use and make the most of the Welsh language.

This means delivering support and advice to local youth groups, working with progressive projects and ensuring equal language rights on different committees which deal with current affairs for young people and children here in Ceredigion. I also work closely with Welsh for Adults to improve the standard of Welsh within the County Council.

Background:

I have a degree in Welsh from Swansea University and upon completing my degree I worked for the URDD, (which is an organisation for children and young people here in Wales that organise events for young people including the annual URDD Eisteddfod). I’ve also worked as a Youth Officer for CYD and I’ve been part of the CERED team for over five years.

Interests:

My whole life revolves around football and the ‘Swans’ (Swansea) in particular! When I’m not working or watching football I enjoy travelling, reading autobiographies and most importantly ... relaxing!

Favourite things:

Where? Liberty Stadium
Food? Thai
Time of Year? Summer
TV Series? Dream Team
Music? A little bit of everything
What makes you smile? The Swans - winning a match (as you can see I am a little obsessed with football!)
